Bees (& the Birds) a call for artists

There has been a lot of buzz lately about the bees…

…and we’re calling on artists to help!

Bees have been dying off at an alarming rate and neonicotinoid pesticides are implicated in this decline. Bees aren’t the only victims – all pollinators – birds and butterflies (and of course we humans) can be affected.

Want to make a difference with your art and help the bees?

Artists can play a big role in raising awareness and offering solutions for individuals, for our community and for our planet.

Most of the world’s plants and food supply relies on our pollinator friends to survive. It’s a big problem, but we as individuals can play a big part of bringing back the bees.

That’s why we’re organizing this salon style show to raise funds and awareness for our friends the BEES. Graven Feather Studio whizzes Erin Candela and Pam Lobb have teamed up with bee lover Christine Pensa of Art That Moves to curate this show.

10% of all show proceeds, including sales will go to the David Suzuki Foundation’s efforts to save the bees.
