Navigating sacred self care as the wayfinders in these times ~ with Host Christine Pensa ~
Exploring the nature of sacred self care, self healing and the evolution of our human experience right now. Things are changing and we are changing and choosing to become more of ourselves.
Together we know it’s time to wake from the dream of who we thought we were and begin living lives that elevate all of us—thriving in harmony with our true human embodiment.
The metaphor of the caterpillar and the butterfly has always been a powerful one for our own evolution – the trust and knowing the caterpillar embodies in order to let go of every single cell she was in order to metamorphosize into the butterfly inspires.
Now, there is an invitation to open to what comes after the butterfly. These next steps are not written in stone, but they are written on our hearts and in the trust we have for our own connection to pure love.
What is it exactly that we are being invited to move into? It’s the to move into more of who each of us is. Consider that we already are/have everything inside us to become what is beyond the butterfly. Just as the caterpillar trusts she is already the butterfly, we too can trust in order to expand beyond the limitations we have known. We are welcoming an evolution for ourselves and for everyone around us. There is no need for saving others, there is simply allowing the release of what we were to BE-come more of who we are ready to be. Moving through the world, focused, powerful, free, fully ourselves, that is what clears a path for others to become more of themselves.
This episode is an invitation to see, feel, and know what is next for you.
Noticing as you let go of so much that is not you, what echoes are returning and how little substance much of what was has for you. Moving forward solidly standing in your own source of pure love. It’s why we’re here at this powerful time on the planet.
Welcome to the next season of the Awakened Woman Self Care podcast. I’m beginning season 7 with an updated introduction and a reprise of episode 135 which was inspired by the phrase full of yourself, the episode explored the question, “If you’re not full of yourself, who else and what else are you full of?” I was prompted to re-listen myself this morning and it has triggered an even deeper excavation in me. I trust it will invite many of you to do the same.
The episode is an invitation to explore how much self you are full of, and noticing the programs, patterns and habits you are ready to release?
We continue to journey through terrain that is unfamiliar. Ensuring we cultivate more of our true selves is ever more important to navigate these times. As we are finding our new footing in this moment, many of us are watering the new ground with our tears. Those tears can be the emptying out of what is not us and stepping back into filling ourselves up with the truth of who we are and have always been beneath the clutter.
It’s an invitation to expand into more of yourself through the lens of adventure and wonder. An invitation to allow any tears shed to water the ground of you.
My deepest wish for you is to become completely and utterly FULL of yourself – here – now because that is what this world needs.
As I mentioned, this reprise episode was prompted by Kaya Usher. You can find out more about Kaya Usher’s gifted Daily Frequency Activations on Mighty Networks and you can sign up here; https://www.thesimplicityplatform.com/
This episode is an invitation to move into more of yourself through self witnessing and witnessing of others in the purest sense. It’s an invitation to enter into your own deep wisdom — that part of you that knows that you are no longer interested in living in polarity and not only the very visible and evident polarity — but also the more subtle energy of polarity that keeps you from being in resonance with your own authentic self.
It’s a call to reclaim the true essence of your divine and infinite nature, and to release, like a set of heavy clothes that no longer fit, the false programs you have been wearing.
When you become adept at truly witnessing yourself, you are able to deepen into the medicine of love that you are, you are better able to express the language of love that comes from connecting to your own Source without the interference of outside programs of polarity and division. It is a powerful act of self love, which naturally becomes universal love on this planet.
Here is the poem I wrote when I first taught my Witnessing classes years ago, which I think expresses the deep joy that true witnessing can bring to our lives;
When you begin to know that aspect of yourself that is divine, that is infinite, that is pure love, and is here now to anchor that on this earth – you don’t need to judge, give advice, etc. when someone else is expressing. You honour the divinity of others and celebrate with joy as both of you move into deeper and deeper creative expressions of your embodied light.
Much love, Christine
As always, I love to explore the evolution of sacred self care for humans in this time – we keep choosing to become more of who we truly are and it keeps shifting. It’s challenging and exciting and sometimes frustrating.
This episode is a fine tuning of our capacity for change, presence, and focus as pure love beings in this time. We all have a role in this symphony of light, one that is being heard and played throughout the cosmos.
The metaphor of riding the wild horses was inspired by my friend Erin’s vision, and the poem below came forward in me;
We’re the riders of these horses and we are riding into more of ourselves, feeling exhilarated, maybe scared, full of wonder and yet we are also holding the reins because we DO have the instructions in our own hearts. That makes it even more important than ever to trust your heart, pay attention and be fully present with yourself first.
The invitation is to become ever more impeccable with yourself and become aware of how the outside information (bafflegab) makes you feel.
Does your heart open and soar or are you left being intrigued entirely by your mind which is subject to programs, distraction and diversions?
A loving reminder to take the reins and choose the horse you are riding into the next evolution for yourself, and, for what you truly want to see in this world.
This episode is a hybrid of the last episode, “Let the Waters Settle Beloved” and Episode 157 “Releasing caterpillar ways to embody the butterfly.”
Continuing with the powerful metaphor of the evolution of caterpillar into butterfly and how it relates to where we are right now as humanity.
Exploring how we invite in the new when we really don’t know what that will look like or how we will be without all the old modalities, practices, people and places that have populated our reality to date.
Our caterpillar style living was perfect for us in the past, but many of us are hearing the call to move and evolve by creating the personal alchemy necessary to evolve. Just like the caterpillar, we need to release what we have been, the ways we have known in order to be-come, to expand into what is next for ourselves, and for humanity. It’s time.
It’s time to listen to our heart’s instructions even though our minds don’t know what will happen next. Beginning by noticing what is feeling depleting and static in our lives, moving into the stillness of our own hearts to take stock of what needs to release, and finally, choosing to embody less of the old (caterpillar), and more of what is next (butterfly).
This is an invitation to listen to your own heart and ask, show me the beauty beyond the beauty I thought I knew.
Let me expand (the poem I read in this episode)
~
(art & poetry Christine Pensa)
In this episode host Christine Pensa explores how we can move through the polarity of solution and problem with more ease and grace. It’s been a trope that we don’t truly change until a problem, a dis-comfort or a dis-ease comes up in our lives. Then we set out to “solve” it. That’s not necessarily where we get tripped up, but we often use the energy of “trying” or “solving” something, which puts us on the same frequency (and in direct polarity) with what we originally perceived as a difficulty in our lives.
If we continue to loop with a “problem” in polarity, then we get trapped on a disempowering frequency, where the solution we crave continues to evade us.
Rather than walking a never-ending loop, we are called to sit in the stillness of ourselves to find the clarity that our own source medicine holds. “Let the waters settle beloved, for it is then you will find the clarity you crave.” In that space we begin to recognize the limitations we have taken on as though it is our own story and even believe it is written in stone. It is time to free ourselves from thought forms we perceived as solid and release them from our beautiful bodies by embodying the medicine we are here to be. Igniting our superpower of choosing to take whatever action is needed in a more efficient and streamlined way.
When we align with that sweet spot within and let the waters settle, when we allow our own source medicine, we invite ourselves to become something organic, new, and at the same time, infinitely more of who we have always been.
Thank you for listening and thank you for sharing the podcast.
This episode sprung from the poem Observer Status (see below). It’s an invitation to move from an unhealthy observer role to a more healthy discernment of where external “authorities” make sense for us and where it is simply a program being run on a loop. As always, sacred self care means we are willing to take responsibility for ourselves.
As things in our external world become more visible, our role as passive observer becomes less palatable. We are being asked to consider ever more deeply, what are you choosing now? How can you turn up the volume on who and what you are here to bring to the world?
Noticing, observing if and how you might be unknowingly be letting your divine expression remain untold. It’s time to get up off of your seat and express through your art of living.
We know it’s time to wake up from who we thought we were and begin to thrive, and to live in harmony with all living beings. In part four of a story series, host Christine Pensa considers the evolution of sacred story and what that means for us right now on this Earth.
This episode explores these questions; What stories are we continuing to give our attention to in the external world? How do we notice the purposeful distraction and realign with what we know we are here to embody? How can we take the beauty and internal heart expansion that stories can bring and leave behind what doesn’t serve us?
The new story we want to materialize now is one that we can choose to weave and spin into this world. Remembering we are these divine points of universal light capable of spinning and weaving together a blanket of golden threads across the world — all by more fully embodying the love that we are.
It’s time to walk out of old stories, and recreate this world the way we know it should be. We can choose to become the new story of this Earth together, and it’s more beautiful than anything we have been led to believe.
Much love
Elaira Flow returns for what organically become part two of our original episode 151. You can find that episode in the show page archives (Episode 151 The Curren-sea of our new businesses with Elaira Flow).
Elaira brings over 20 years of experience as a trauma informed somatic business coach, a healer with extrasensory abilities and an architect of new business paradigm that is necessarily holistic, including all aspects of ourselves. Over the years she has observed trends and directions of business and what is thought possible through structure only, which often does not work. Her work is an invitation for us to approach business (and life) holistically.
The spark that lit this joy-filled conversation was Elaira’s instagram post about the clarion call to move into being a leader in our own lives, rather than accepting everything outside ourselves. Self leadership capacity is one of the things she focuses on in her work. She shares that in the new business paradigm we are the leaders of our own lives, claiming both that freedom and responsibility for ourselves.
This year opened with a powerful new frequency in which many of us are hearing. It is a call to step away from simply accepting what has been, and being filled with what we don’t want, into more of what we want to see on this Earth now. Elaira invites people to notice and compare how much of their day is spent accepting life, and how much time they spend per day “crafting life,” dreaming, choosing, paying attention to what they truly want.
Elaira has crafted a model of 8 capacities, all of which are holistic, reaching into our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies. She calls our businesses, the dress you put on these healed aspects of yourself—learning and recognizing your capacity covers it all. Aligning our energetics, our blockages, our nervous systems so the mind and the action steps can flow, rather than staying as Elaira says, “in familiar hell.” She says if we create from the brain only, we continue to create what we know and we do not step into the dreaming because we become sidetracked by the “greed of how.”
Capacity work does not mean we will never encounter fear or doubt, Elaira says, the difference is that we will learn how to hold more, both the “good” and the “bad” so nothing stops us from moving through in alignment with ourselves, with flow and with ease. With pioneering work like what Elaira is offering, this is how, together, we change the world. So it is.

My guest in this (love) full episode is Jarmila, Transparent Crystal Spirit Guide, Blue printer, Soul master healer, and human issues energy healer. As Jarmila shares; “Through my work I have found that my soul originated from the Prime Creator, the Infinite Mother Goddess of All Creation. At the soul level my choosing has been of healing divine service through the physical representation of sacred feminine and to participate in co-creating of new path-ways bringing freedom, higher consciousness through many healing modalities.”
The episode begins with a be-moreing meditation. We continued this incredible, expansive conversation when I asked Jarmila to share her experience of the Coherent Field. It’s difficult to summarize, but in part Jarmila emphasized the need to remember our original genetic lineage. That it requires discernment, it requires being fully present, and it needs our own feedback and awareness of how our own brain and central nervous system functions, and where the interruptions come from. It is the intent everyday to exercise our “sovereign free will being-ness in accordance with Universal law and Mother Earth sentience.” It is the discovery of what it means to be you as a unique individuated creation. As Jarmila says, “That is your beautiful artistic opportunity and investigation to follow your call.”
Love in Action was at the core of our discussion for me. I know that Jarmila approaches healing through love in action and as she says; “Healing is a process of an energetic and spiritual alignment at all levels. You are always looked after by beloved Prime Creator. This planet is a sacred planet.”
You can connect with Jarmila through her website here; http://jarmila.love/ or her YouTube channel
This is a very special episode, an offering, a neo-ceremony through the kind of ongoing, infinite, cosmic conversation you have with heart friends. My beautiful guest is Sahala Larnyoh a woman with a powerful voice that can communicate many layers of frequencies. In addition to our conversation, (which I feel is a sound bath) you will hear an exclusive preview of Sahala’s new song with Altosounds mid-episode. AND, at the end of the episode we have co-created a musical poetry meditation, which is an invitation for you to deepen into more of yourself through sound and silence.
Sahala shares how she moved through what she calls the “chaos” of her lineage and began an independent path. Her journey, her bravery and her authentic heart are powerful and inspirational reminders for us all. Sahala tells a story of her youth, one where summoned the courage to stand up before an audience for the first time. She says, “the spotlight hit, I sang …that powerful song at that age, that was the moment where an opportunity opened up for me.”
It’s an invitation to everyone listening to be part of the larger conversation where we remember how valuable we truly are. We are here to sing our beautiful note. Whether that is literal or a metaphor, each one of us is needed, each note is here to be sung. A remembering that each of us has gifts that only we have the keys to. The more you allow the truth of yourself to rise up, the more powerfully your note comes through.
In practical terms, it means letting go of self censoring. Letting go of doing what you think will help you fit in, to the detriment of your health, and well being. It means doing the work to inner-stand your own dreams and to begin to know and follow ever more of your true voice/self.
To sing your note actually begins in the silence. That’s here you begin to hear it, and begin the step by step practice following the sparks that light you up.
Enjoy this episode and singing your beautiful note, after all, it’s why you’re here.

It’s coming up all over the place, shame as a tool to tell you who and what to be. Let’s explore what and how shame might be calling to us to resolve and heal in order for us and the planet to evolve right now.
We all know and have experienced shame. It is expressed on the emotional scale as the very lowest frequency, lower even than grief or fear.
This episode is an invitation to question your own experience and expression of programs and patterns of shame and why it’s now more important than ever to break the cycle of shame in ourselves. It’s an invitation to notice, and see through the programs and patterns that continue to perpetuate division on this Earth. I shared this anonymous quote; Don’t shame yourself into changing, instead love yourself into evolving. Let’s stop throwing the hot potato of shame to others and instead notice how we can alchemize shame that has been weaponized, particularly in light of current events. How can we begin to inner-stand where, when and how we navigate polarizing narratives and choose instead our highest action in each moment.
How do we navigate these times when many people, practices and teachings are being revealed to be less than authentic and actually doing harm. How do we come to a place of reverence and respect for the true way showers without giving our own power away.
First, we can choose to resolve judgement and resistance within ourselves. Noticing if we are dis-honouring ourselves, our own power, then perhaps expressing it as opposition to another person. Forgiving ourselves for misunderstanding the nature of past teachings which might have diminished us. We can choose to dismantle the hierarchy within ourselves, freeing us from a pyramid style scheme of spirituality which sees us at the bottom always striving to get somewhere.
Next, we can allow ourselves to truly witness each other, which leads to self reverence and respect, removing the programs that stand in our way. Then we can open our hearts to the many authentic and powerful teachers and mentors in our lives whose powerful light can heighten our own illumination. Witnessing the sacredness of all the beings embodying here now.
We become the sentinels, holding strong the gates of our own expression of love through our own source. Heralding the arrival of beauty, truth, love, freedom, joy and wonder we are ready to co-create here, now.
It seems fitting that this fall I begin a new season, officially season 6, as it feels like a new world, filled with powerful new beginnings.
After a long hiatus the podcast is back with a brand new episode—because NOW is the time to cast nothing but light. What does that mean for us to cast nothing but light? It is a choice to live, move and experience through the light of ourselves. We’re learning how.
In this way of operating we also cast no shadow. We create no division and harm and instead live from the knowing of who we truly are. We turn up the volume on our own connection to our own source. We turn down the volume of the cacophony of what is going on in the external world. We become clear about what service without shadow is for each of us.
Feeling the call to meet ourselves in our brilliant interior silence, we are tuning back into the truth felt deeply within our body core. We remember we know, our bodies know, we are here to birth life, to birth light.
Fyi for those that love numerology; The number 6 is the embodiment of the heart. It represents unconditional love and the ability to support, nurture, and heal. It is a powerful force of compassion and empathy and its warm light is a beacon of hope. Its role is to use its heart and soul to be of service to others.
An update and reprise of episode 150 outlining the continued importance of freeing yourself to be misunderstood as a powerful self love practice.
Being misunderstood is a primal wound many of us are experiencing in these times. Freeing ourselves to be misunderstood is part of the powerful and profound work we can do right now on our beautiful planet.
It’s time to stop plucking at the leaves of what isn’t working and get to the roots. Trusting the truth that comes from the core of our own purity is to release the patterns and programs of the need to be accepted and understood for who we are.
The invitation of this episode is to explore where you have limited your expression because you were feeding the real need to be cared for—by sacrificing the love and trust of your own self—and the purity of your personal instructions. Noticing now, where you learned, or were programmed to keep yourself small in order to be accepted. What did you do to fill that wound?
Sacred self care, self love, and trust is a powerful practice that begins with your own deep knowing of who you are and what you are meant to be NOW.
outlining the continued importance of freeing yourself to be misunderstood as a powerful self love practice.
As my summer hiatus continues, I am bringing forward past episodes that present themselves for another listen. This one came through a number of synchronicities. As I explained in the new introduction, I found great value in re-listening to this one and was able to deepen into the message Dr. Brianne Grogan shared.
The original episode was titled; The Practical Magic of the Pelvic Floor with Dr. Brianne Grogan
The episode was not just about pelvic health, it was about how we can open our consciousness to include more of what we choose for our own bodies and our own health.
My powerful guest was Dr. Brianne Grogan who brings forward a treasure trove of wisdom for best practices for vital health and a life well lived—therefore, practical magic.
As Dr. Bri shared, the pelvic floor is the epicentre for so many of the body’s operations. We discussed bio-tensegrity a whole body approach. When one part of the body is compromised, the entire structure responds to balance out the problem. Many of us are still responding to the symptoms that might show up and not getting to the root of the issue. Learning more about the foundational aspect of the pelvic floor in particular brings us back into awareness first, and then control of our body’s vital health. That’s the practical. The magic comes in when we recognize that much of what we have accepted about our health and wellness may simply be an outdated belief system that is ready to be released. The invitation is to explore what beliefs you might be holding and what you have accepted as truth that might not be. Stepping into your own knowing and finding the right formula for yourself.
Dr. Bri has devoted herself to helping others understand their bodies through her incredible, accessible, information rich YouTube channel, Dr. Bri’s Vibrant Pelvic Health. She says that beginning with an awareness of the hidden anatomy of the pelvic floor (which most of us were not taught about) is key to understanding and trusting this part of our body and how it corresponds to our overall health. Many of the issues that result from pelvic floor dysfunction are very “common” but that doesn’t mean that they are okay or that we need to live with them. Gaining self awareness and understanding allows us to take the reigns back with confidence. We become adept at weaving the practical and the magical into the tapestry of our own embodiment.
As Bri says, It’s the challenges that change you and there are gifts in every challenge. I encourage every woman listening to go to Dr. Bri’s website to learn more, to visit her YouTube channel and in particular to watch the two videos she made on the basics of pelvic floor anatomy and health, and to tune into all parts of your own body to inner stand and choose the best for your own radiant health and joy-full living now!

This is in part a repeat episode from September 2021 (episode 139). The theme is our power to choose. It’s coming around again! It is ever more important to deepen into your knowing of what is true, because saying no can be a yes to more of you.
The original episode was inspired by you, the listeners, who call forward what wants to be heard, and by an instagram post on neutrality. The post came from Dr. Lori Earley and she said in her account @phoenixrising medicine, “Neutrality is not an option.”
What are we choosing in this moment, at this pivotal time on the planet? When chaos and polarities are amplified, we can retreat from that cacophony because we do not want to be pulled in directions that would seem to pull us apart. We still FEEL it because we are part of the collective.
How can we discern what is right for us in this moment? How do we navigate the external? We choose.
We don’t have to choose a side, but we are being called to choose who we are. To stand in our pure love presence. To say no to what we need to say no to, to say yes to what we need to say yes to—because to not choose is to give our tacit or implied consent to whatever, or whoever, has the loudest voice.
At the end of the episode host Christine Pensa shared a short tree meditation to help you discern through metaphor the truth of you and how to use visualization to move beyond the lower frequencies that are external to you.
Much love
This is a reprise of episode 154 recorded in May of 2022, and an invitation to revisit both the episode and your own growth over the last year.
I recorded a new introduction, and just like I did, it’s a call to observe where you can expand and deepen into more of who you are as we continue to create, and grow on the Earth in these powerful times.
This episode was inspired by well known aphorism, curiosity killed the cat, and is an exploration into how, why, and where our natural curiosity may have been suppressed. What does curiosity really mean and why would we damn up the river of information that flows to us and through us? Why would we choose to block that which helps us navigate the truth of our divinity?
Curiosity begets self mastery, because, we are the catalysts for our own change and evolution.
We have lived consciously and unconsciously in the “do as you are told” pattern and program. We have been encouraged to use the external/validated information even when it doesn’t feel right to us. Now is the time for us to move more strongly and powerfully into a “do as you KNOW” frequency.
Your natural curiosity helps you access your inner wisdom which flows abundantly from your own pure heart. When we honour our natural curiosity, we evolve from being the supplicants – forever looking outside of ourselves for answers – to the creators of our own reality and this world we are here for now.
Time to call back in your curiosity and weave the golden threads shining through the muck back into your life. So it is.
The new song
As I wake I ask my heart
Show me the beauty beyond the beauty I thought I knew
Let me step beyond fields of possibility I thought were mine
Let me have the courage to leave behind what I thought was true
Let me shed like tattered rags the beliefs and images I have worn in unknowing
So that my brilliance is all clothing that I need ~
This episode is a reflection on what we are stepping away from in this moment on the planet. How it is that we can surrender into the beauty beyond the beauty we thought we knew.
The first question that arises within our human self is how to move this through your body and into your life in a way that integrates into your everyday existence. It takes courage to see the wonder of ourselves because it means that so much of who we thought we were, including the “good” parts of ourselves, needs to go. The blinders need to come off or we cannot hope to see our own brilliance.
The invitation is to notice where the resistance in you is — turning to meet that part and go beyond what you thought was the best of you. Sacred self care is opening to find more of ourselves. We’re not fixing, because in this moment we are becoming the creator self by leaving behind the limiting beliefs and practices and images we have held onto. We are in the process of freeing ourselves.
We are stepping into more of our true brilliance, partnering with the Earth, and then with others. We are the song that is being sung. We are the flowers that continue to bloom and we cannot be stopped. Our bodies already recognize and respond to the beauty beyond the beauty we thought we knew. So it is.
This engaging and heart opening episode features guest Laura Bolton and what she terms her “radical” decision to leave all social media. As we discovered in our discussion, it’s not just about social media, it’s about everything. Our conversation is an invitation to notice where and how we are participating in any kind of toxic pattern or relationship in our own lives.
Collectively we are stepping away from people, places, and things that are draining us like never before. We have begun to recognize the time to act is NOW. We are at a pivotal moment on this planet where we can choose to drop eons of programs and build something new from our true selves—without distraction, and distortion.
Laura shared some of the reasons behind her decision to leave social media, and the “utter relief” she felt afterward without the “tiniest piece of regret.” She said she feels lighter, calmer and has much more energy to focus on things that matter to her.
Many of us have found connection and comfort in social media particularly over the last few years. Although there were many good things that sprang from that (like feeling understood and less alone) Laura says she was finding the negative frequency and parasitic energies have become more and more prevalent on the platform. She became aware that, for her, social media platforms felt like “a digital slave system that profits from your time and attention.” We discussed how a relationship with anything outside of ourselves can be abusive or toxic when our own thoughts and behaviours become overly influenced. Laura maintains that if examined, most people would find that they do not have a liberated, healthy relationship with social media.
Laura finds asking questions to be a beautiful internal exploration. As she says, no one knows what is best for you, but you, and, it’s really important to self inquire. Here are a few questions that arose from this episode;
What am I fearful of missing out on?
Is my human need to have certainty limiting me?
What is it I would choose for myself?
Where/when/by who has my time and attention been hijacked or manipulated?
How can I give this relationship/practice/habit up?
How do I find my community if I’m not online?
After she made the decision to leave social media, Laura found there were many new opportunities that opened up because she was willing to let go of what wasn’t serving her. She shared some ideas for creating the awareness around whatever toxic situation we find ourselves in, and how to practically allow yourself to explore what is happening in your own life.
It’s possible to shift anything once we become aware and we build in the support we need. We have the power to choose who and what we surround ourselves with.

If a straight line is not the fastest route from A to B, what is your path to the wonder of you? What does that meandering path look like in this moment on the Earth?
This episode is an invitation to notice where you have been in reaction when you really want to be in true, aligned action in accordance with what your heart already knows is the path that’s best for you. That impulse is also in collaboration with others and what is being called forward by so many of us here now. Taking time to tune into what that pure love frequency feels like for you. Allowing the release of the harmful patterns and programs we have knowingly or unknowingly chosen in linear thinking. Breaking free to forge our own path from our connection to our true selves. No more cages around our hearts we all move toward what we always knew this world should be.
The poem;
Oh beloved
This love we are
A wellspring of joy
Alive with wonder
Gathering speed now
Anchoring here, now
From each being following the flow(ering) of their being
Coming together as our infinite purity
Nothing but love
Our true nature
Our Home
We chose this peace freedom beauty
for our Home
(art & poetry Christine Pensa)
Thank you for listening to the podcast. Much love, Christine
This episode is a deepening of an exploration of the walls between us that host Christine Pensa did in episode 127. It’s an invitation to notice where and how you have been creating metaphorical and real walls within yourself—to notice where you have been following paths and practices that are not truly who you are NOW.
We’ve been in warrior mode for some time now and it’s time to relearn and remember from where that polarity sprung—and to turn those warrior tools into the precision instruments they have been waiting to transform into.
You choose.
You are a sovereign love song sung to all of creation able to dissolve the walls that were erected on the vast fields of who we truly are.
By dissolving the polarity within us and between us we are tuning into our song sung together as one voice in alignment with Earth.
This image of ONE voice is a call for all of us to dissolve the walls within ourselves and between our fellow divine humans. Connecting back to ourselves as free, sovereign beings of love. Connecting back to the purity and innocence of your original, organic self to come back into harmony with ourselves first—then singing this song of love as our infinite expression.
Knowing ourselves as love as beings here to do harm to none, we reunite with our true expression. Christine concluded the episode by sharing a beautiful poem written by Maria Sabina entitled, You Are the Medicine. (see episode 127 for full text of the poem below).
May you sing your beautiful song of light for all of us to hear in 2023. Much love, Christine
Opening into 2023 this first episode of the year was inspired by the phrase full of yourself. It was something I explored in a former episode and as we move into the new year, this is an invitation to deepen into the question, “If you’re not full of yourself, who else and what else are you full of?” How much of your true self you are full of and where can you find more you.
A beautiful way to find more you is to close your eyes and come into the silence of you. Breathe. Get out of your head and into your heart space. Then say out loud allowing your true self to fill in the blanks; My name is____, and I am full of myself. When I am full of myself I AM___.
As we continue to journey through this powerful time on the Earth, we re-visit our deepest layers and it can be challenging to find new footings. As I said in episode 135, we are finding our new footing in this moment, many of us are watering the new ground with our tears. The tears can be the emptying out of what is not us and stepping back into filling ourselves up with the truth of who we are and have always been beneath the clutter.
May we all continue to fill with more of our true divine presence in 2023. Much love, Christine
As the year draws to a close it is ever more important to consciously navigate your sacred self care. Being present is a powerful act that brings you and those around you into the higher frequency of who you truly are. Noticing what, who, where you are hitting the edges of you and are being pulled away from that centre. Choosing to stand in the light of you.
To close out the year, podcast host Christine Pensa shared one of her older poems that feels particularly relevant for this moment on the Earth.
Wishing all the listeners many heart opening be-moreings as we move into more of our brilliance in 2023.

At this moment on the planet, we are releasing so many outdated beliefs and structures. Food is one of the big ones, and very personal for so many women. In this episode, my guest, food freedom coach and holistic wellness expert Sloane Elizabeth and I are talking about food and unraveling many of the layers of the (pardon the pun) heaviness that has been entangled with our relationship to food.
In her work, Sloane combines the science of nutrition with spirituality, as a holistic journey into self love and embodiment. Sloane brilliantly shared, as women, particularly with food and our bodies, we have been manipulated to be smaller and therefore less powerful. In fact, she says, because our power is truly unlimited, there are so many systems and structures that are terrified of us. Stepping back into an alive relationship with ourselves opens us to remember more of that presence.
Sloane says, food, something that we interact with every day, something we put inside our bodies everyday is important because it becomes a part of our beautiful bodies. She shared that for her, food freedom, means something more than how it has traditionally been portrayed. She says that kind of freedom is empowering, intentional, intuitive, and a powerful key to unlocking our potential in all areas of our life.
We talked about the importance of being present to embodiment. If we are not “feeding” ourselves mindfully then something else can feed on us, whether that’s unresolved mental or emotional patterns, lineage or societal programs.
Sloane’s heart work is to get her clients to be “on the same team” as their bodies, so they can successfully re-calibrate and trust the wisdom of their bodies once again.

For new listeners to the Awakened Woman Self Care podcast, we explore the nature of sacred self care in these times. The focus of each episode, whether with a guest, or solo with host Christine Pensa, is an offering meant to assist you to thrive in harmony with your true human embodiment.
This episode is an exploration of yet another side of witnessing. Christine shares why it is so instrumental to our sacred self care and how the observation of it can become sacred medicine for our community. Christine also tells a story on herself when she overstepped and “helped” a frog that didn’t really need help, illustrating how detrimental not being able to create space (aka witness) to hear what the frog truly needed. Likewise, by becoming witness with compassion and gentleness to ourselves, we can hear what is truly needed in each moment, through each challenge—internal or external.
It is only after being a sacred, or embodied witness to ourselves that we can become witness to our loved ones, our friends and the greater community. As we become loving, compassionate, embodied presence, we release the desire to change, or fix, or stop things before we have a true knowing of what in the highest order for everyone. By taking full responsibility for ourselves first, we become the calm in the storm. We leave space without stepping all over our own sovereignty or anyone else’s.
At the conclusion of the episode, Christine walks listeners through a self witnessing practice.
This episode is a further exploration of the question now what (?) and our longing to inner-stand what is next for during this pivotal time on the planet. What if it’s time to step through what has been a comfort to discover the immensity of our cosmic expression on the Earth now. We know we are made for these times, but what if the way we have been going about it is ready to evolve alongside of us?What if we let ourselves recognize what isn’t working, what isn’t us and by that recognition we become the sacred witness to it’s leaving?
This is an invitation to sit in the sacred space of you and witness yourself so you allow who truly are—because…
…We are here
We are legion
We are love
We are the wonder of these times
Coming together singing our songs in harmony with who we truly are.
Kaya Usher is my very special repeat guest in this episode. She’s a true pioneer and brilliant at sharing and showing others how to navigate the waters of these times.
Kaya’s story is an inspiring one, it is one that can uplift anyone who choses to open to their own infinite possibility. Her journey led her through hardships, which might have derailed many of us, but through all the challenges she held strong to her desire to know her true self more deeply. While being fully human, she models a way through the woods for all of us.
In this episode Kaya shares how after moving through her challenges there was a time of learning and training before she was ready to download The Simplicity Platform. The 8 Tenets, or pillars of that platform are the simple, yet very powerful core of her teaching. We talked about how this work is a frequency technology and why it is the perfect platform for these evolutionary times. She calls it, “A space of engagement, of literally surrendering back into our highest knowledge, back into our highest possibility. It is an action space where we need focus, discipline and trust to truly let go of what isn’t us.”
Kaya says frequency technology is an un-teaching that helps us recognize and release the constructs we have been carrying. In fact she says frequency technology, “…is the building blocks of all creation.” With this technology we are able to transcend the outdated models of the past. It is about becoming an organic human. Deeply connected to ourselves, allowing us to be whole.
Simply and powerfully, Kaya concludes, “This technology is simply here to show you once again all the tools available to you from the space you were created. It is magnificent and there is not one single person who cannot open up again to who they truly are.”
I trust your experience of this podcast will be one which brings the higher frequency of the true you more online than ever.

This mini episode is a reminder to notice when and where you are moving out of the present moment into the past or the future. Being very aware of where you might be numbing out or not taking responsibility for knowing or reading your own user manual.
It’s time to stop picking at the leaves and dive into the roots of you. Finding balance, finding yourself and going back to the basics of you.
Simply a reminder to notice the truth of YOU during these powerful and tender times on the planet.
As we move into autumn, I’m revisiting the metaphor of the caterpillar and butterfly, diving into a deeper layer to explore how we humans have lived with the perspective of the caterpillar for enough time.
We are in a moment where we know we are being called to shift from that field of limitation, and change into the butterflies we have always been.
This episode is an invitation to observe yourself with no self censoring, and feel what is, and also is not, truly calling you right now. Being honest with what is depleting you in the material world, either “stuff” or “habits.” Doing an inventory (without getting into polarity with yourself) so you can let yourself lift up into the arms of the butterfly by hearing your own internal instruction.
You have done a brilliant job at existing and being a caterpillar, but now you can choose to embody the butterfly, to recognize that you are indeed a butterfly and always have been — and beloved you already know it’s time to fly.
When everything appears nice and pleasant and comfortable, it’s tough to walk away. As the boiling frog metaphor illustrates, we might not notice we are in trouble until it’s too late. At this moment on the Earth it is important to pay attention to who, what and where you might be giving away parts of yourself to by playing nice. Truly now is the time to stop pretending pleasantville is a good place to live. Valuing your own inner standing and knowing of what distortions are playing out very subtly in your life.
Deepen your superpower of noticing. As we step into the Solstice, what traditions and customs in general are chipping away at the solidity of you. Realigning yourself so no more wedges and cracks are created in the rock of you. The episode concludes with a creative visualization meditation to help you be more impeccable and heart centred in what you are choosing. As embodied pure love you are a sanctuary for others, without ever needing to give a chip of yourself away.
Offered with love.
It’s time for many of us to say goodbye to fears of missing out, and false ideas of what we think should be. We have been conditioned to believe that we can miss out or be unsafe by not adhering to standards which originate entirely outside of our own truth. We then can miss the clear signals coming from our own heart home because we have not been embodying ourselves.
When we feel uncomfortable or sad or worried we might be missing out, instead of fixating on what is wrong, noticing what it is that you are really telling yourself. Move forward from the stickiness of the emotional trap and observing the gift it is pointing you toward. What if the grass is actually greener under your own feet? Bringing yourself back to the knowing that, yes, Dorothy, the power was always there inside you. You were already home. Time to click your heels and embody your pure presence of love.
By releasing fomo, and choosing to opt out of what isn’t you—you choose to embody more of what is you. It is from that place you become resplendent with the beautiful nectar that feeds true community. There is no efforting there, there is no fixing yourself or others. What remains is simply the joy of being more of your highest frequency expression embodied here on this beloved Earth.
This month is another powerful one and it is more and more noticeable that things are changing and need to change in our world. There is a deep knowing of this in our own bodies, and yet, many of us are also experiencing a recurrence of things that feel like old patterns. It’s confusing. We know we are becoming more, and we are also experiencing physical ailments, heightened emotions and loss of a sense of “reality.”
How do we practically step into becoming more of the complete self? How can we allow ourselves to be remade into our true selves? Who are we without these looping patterns? Host Christine shares some practical ideas to move through these endings so we can step more fully into ourselves.
Choosing to begin a deeper relationship with the unlimited you. Choosing to embody you, here, now is a coming home to yourself and being in a state of deep love for who you really are. Dropping the attachments no matter how safe they feel—and being very gentle with yourself as you do so.
May you always choose what is perfect for the highest frequency you in each moment. May you trust yourself. May you learn to love yourself at ever deeper levels. May you inner stand more of yourself in the deep silence of who you are. May you allow yourself to change course and direction without shame, blame or guilt. May you be free.
With love
This episode is not just about pelvic health, it’s about how we can open our consciousness to include more of what we choose for our own bodies and our own health.
Ever since I experienced a prolapse I knew I wanted to do a podcast episode that would weave the spiritual, emotional, mental and physical components of our human being-ness. My powerful guest is Dr.

In this episode award winning author and spiritual teacher Carrie Triffet shares her gentle and powerfully heart opening experiences and relationship with nature as a path to self discovery. She says that the natural world is the easiest place to notice how miracles work. “Miracles are the nature of life itself and if we are not having constant miracles and constant joyful noticing of amazing things happening then there is something about our own societies and our own perceptions that we ought to be taking a closer look at.” Carrie says that though we don’t often believe it, we are powerful creators. Therefore, if we don’t believe in miracles, we then create a world where miracles do not happen. We explored how we can simply allow for them so the miracles just pop. She says part of it is meeting with and recognizing nature doesn’t live in the past or the future, but only in the presence of right now.
Nature delights in your delight and that sets the stage for miracles. Beginning with a simple greeting, acknowledgement of, or gratitude for the presence of a plant, or a sunset, or the song of a bird opens a conscious communication.
Carrie shared a beautiful story about her home. Under her stewardship, the land shifted from a kind of smothered wasteland to one “bursting with the unmistakable frequency of divine love.”
The invitation of this episode was to open into allowing for the possibility that you yourself are both a bringer, receiver and transmitter of miracles by getting as deeply in contact as possible with nature. Holding compassion for yourself as you learn through your mistakes.

This episode is not just a conversation about one thing—business, it is a joyful exploration of the evolution of our human expressions and what we are moving toward. Elaira Tickute is here to “heal and rebuild (the) business paradigm” and of course it’s not possible to separate ourselves from business because business is meant to be rooted in the “currency of care,” as Elaira calls it. She does this through her own business—Elaira Flow.
Elaira’s great joy about her mission to help others expand their capacity to receive all of life flows powerfully through this episode of the podcast.
We talked about some of the patterns we carry and how we can recognize those blocks in order to shift from the efforting of working hard to earn money to opening to allow ourselves to receive money. The currency of of care is about moving into authentic living as well as authentic business. Through this curren-sea the field of the heart opens and business evolves from being transactional to opening up new pathways of creative experimentation and exploration.
We explored how to move through the limitations of the old ways and begin conducting yourself and your business in sovereignty and authenticity. Elaira shares, when you are willing to step into being a more authentic version of yourself, growth occurs naturally. She says the journey of growth one of the most challenging, but most rewarding ones you can do for yourself and for your business.
Elaira has her own podcast, now called, The New Business Paradigm with Elaira, and in the rich episodes she explores in detail insights around freedom from fixed price valuing and hierarchical structure. In our episode we focused on flowing into more of yourself and the seed of creation that wants to be shared through you not just from your head, but from the fullness of you. It’s a gently powerful heart opening episode regardless of whether you run a business or not.
*NOTE: Part two can be found as Episode 179 Elaira Flow, How holistic Capacity work moves us into new self leadership in business and life
Being misunderstood is a primal wound many of us are experiencing recently. Triggers abound in the world right now.
What did you do to fill that wound.
Sacred self care, self love, and trust is a powerful practice that begins with your own deep knowing of who you are and what you are meant to be NOW.
Host Christine Pensa explores the often taboo subject of anger and how women express and mostly repress it because it is “not nice.”
This is an episode of self exploration and questioning. How can you recognize and release the patterns behind the negative emotions. What is the message these emotions are pointing you toward and how can you alchemize them into creating what you actually desire in this world.
We are here on this planet now longing to express more of ourselves, knowing we are conduits of pure love embodied.
What if we chose to use anger and other so called negative emotions for the creation of something divine for ourselves and for the elevation and expansion of the planet?
Host Christine Pensa explores the feeling of being at your “wit’s end” and the implications that has for you, and for all of us in this moment. Many of us are coming to the edge of the place of not knowing what to do. It can be perplexing and we can feel uneasy. What if we could allow ourselves to be in that place without fixing it? What if we could let this be the dismantling of what has been in order to experience ourselves—to be more of ourselves.
Noticing all the places where the modalities and practices that used to work for you, simply don’t.
This episode’s invitation is to explore the unlimitedness and the beauty of who you are in this moment. Then choosing, through the confusion you might be feeling, more of what you want to birth right now through the force of love that you already are. Discerning the false voices that tell you you are at your wit’s end, and moving into your true voice and the song of—you being more of you.
(Hear more from Maggie Savage scroll down to Episode 131 on this page!)
As we move beyond traditions and dogmas, our deep spontaneous knowing of what wants to express now comes forward. A healing soup that moves like a pulse through our physical bodies.
In contrast to what is happening in the external, it feels like joy, like power and like pure love. The invitation of this episode is to notice where and how you can notice and bring forward more of this sweet hummm rising in you. It doesn’t have to be anything mysterious or mystical, it has to be what works for you. Where can you find more of your own expansion every day? What is longing to be expressed through you right now?
This world needs more of your joy, your power and your love.
(Thank you to Martha, Erin and the listeners for inspiring this episode)
Love’s Hummm
Do you feel it dear sisters?
This hummm rising through the city scapes
Past the rubble
Skimming over fields and waters and sleepy rooftops
Our hummm is rising
It’s rising
the rich sweet nectar of knowing flooding our bodies,
truth nourishing our hearts
The Sun lit honey we make from our nectar
bringing healing to this world
Do you feel it?
Our hummmm is rising
~
We Are Roses
Each has our journey
reaching to the Sun
An opening of the heart of us in reunion
Calling to the Bees
as they spiral upward on the breeze
This beauty, our life force expressing
through soft rains, harsh winds
Roots entwined though our
expressions unique
You and I blossom into
the fullness of our possibilities
No one less than
No one more than
Witnessed as we
Shower this world with
the scent of our LOVE
Podcast host Christine recorded this episode after a short and deeply nourishing personal retreat where she was able to tune into her own natural flow of pure love. A big piece of her journey was the knowing she wanted to physically connect with people in her community who she had only known online. These connections planted the seeds for the unfolding of the new human permaculture image which revealed more of itself on the drive home.
On the return journey Christine was lit up while listening to a podcast on permaculture (see episode link below). As the modern philosophy of permaculture states, it is a working with, rather than against, nature.
The metaphor of permaculture opened into a heart knowing that we are also in this moment on the Earth coming together to create the New Human Permaculture. The joyful and natural exchange of being with no obligation, no hierarchy and complete freedom to expand into more of what our source connected personal instructions call forward. That kind of human permaculture exchange where naturally each human opens into more and more of their own expression, while supporting and activating the whole.
Tune into this episode to connect into what and how you can tend your sacred self care by observing what wants to be cultivated within you right now.

This beautiful episode and conversation began with Heidi’s sharing her knowing that the time to “break free into our aliveness” is now. As Heidi says, the time for sitting on the fence is over. She says, “It’s now a desperate call. We need people to Be their shining lights.” The planet, the cosmos needs us all to be our shining lights. Our job is to let go of the shore and move into the river of our own true being and let it take us to the destination of our original truth.
Heidi shared some powerful stories of how we can tune into our own aliveness. She has been observing in her work with people how things are moving faster and how the deeper layers of the challenges we have had are coming up more insistently—in order for us to choose change.
Heidi says that indigenous teachers helped her recognize how Nature understands its own aliveness, and that nature’s example can help us tune into our Original Truth. She used the example of a pebble on a mountain. That pebble might be moved from the mountain, picked up by someone and taken to another country, but it always recognizes that it is the mountain. It does not lose its original truth as we humans have.
The natural world always knows how to be its best version of its original truth and the invitation is for us to be the best version of ourselves. Heidi outlined simple and practical ways we can tune into this for ourselves. As she says, she likes to make things easy. Heidi’s book, Answering the Call of Your Spirit, How to wake up and remember the light of your soul, is an incredible book of self discovery. The book contains 22 self discovery moments punctuated with inspiring, uplifting stories and deep insights.
There are many conversational gems in this episode, which closed with an exploration of ourselves as dreamers. Why deepening our capacity as dreamers is so important right now. Heidi says she invites her clients to begin their work together by asking, What do you want the end result to be? She then asks them to dream the unlimited, impossible and playful dream of their answer. She says, let’s be the wisdom of children, by dreaming ourselves into being and creating a trail that pulls others toward their own expansive dreams.

In this episode host Christine Pensa talks about how we have been conditioned to believe that we are a category or that we can only express as one thing—specialists. Like the monoculture that dominates our food and entertainment industries, the specialist or the “one way of doing things” method is breaking down and is ready to be replaced. In fact, what we are seeing unfolding in the collective is actually the dismantling of what has and is doing harm.
What is being created now, this new human permaculture is about embodying all aspects of ourselves. As the potter and poet MC Richards famously said, “We are both gravity and levity, that’s the genius of the human being…we are both and we shouldn’t be talked out of it.”
The invitation of these times is to remember and fully inhabit the fullness of you. As you inhabit more of your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies—filling the space with your I am presence—the patterns and programs of the mono-culture release. You embody diversity in union with nature. You release the need to over consume and the fear associated with survival. The creator that you are is able to fully inhabit every single centimeter and cell of your divine embodied expression. We take back the beauty of the human body and embrace the wholeness of our divine expression.

The divine Kahu Lahela was the perfect guest to begin the new year of 2022 and as the first episode of Season Four. It is a powerful, and an empowering episode. As Lahela explained, she considers herself a Kahu of balance, as a bridge between the light and the dark and a bridge to Source. For her it means being a keeper of harmony, balance and inner peace to help and remind people who they truly, authentically are—and that is indeed a divine way to step into this powerful year of change.
This is an episode that is an experience of your own sovereignty and of your own magnificence. Kahu Lahela’s wise presence is so helpful to practically lead us through how we can step into both our sovereignty and responsibility at this pivotal time on the planet. During this ease and grace-filled conversation, she shared beautiful metaphors, and simple practices to help guide listeners through the challenges stepping into more of ourselves presents, as well as some of the great joys that can unfold as a result of us taking “the driver’s seat” in our lives.
We shared our mutual excitement over the expanding and unlimited possibilities opening up this year and how we are all being called to co-create with those higher frequencies. One of the sacred self care keys is being gentle with and observing yourself. The “line of integrity” is how Lahela explains David Hawkins levels of consciousness model. Noticing where your frequency is at all times and shifting your vibration to the highest possible to counterbalance the lowest frequency of shame and guilt. Asking questions so that grace can show up as your guiding light.
The podcast conversations over the past year have felt more and more heart expanding. This one was no exception. Together with you the listener, we are weaving more and more magic back into material form. This guest is one I know you will want to experience to begin 2022 with ideas and inspiration that can serve your highest unfolding. I invite you to tune in for the gems Kahu Lahela shares freely and joyfully, and especially to hear the heart opening Ole (Hawaiian chant) she sung at the end of the episode. The Ole she chose is a call to clear your path so you can navigate your way forward with love and trust. Aloha.

Christine’s guest in this episode of the podcast was Kate Joyner the creatrix of The Dancing Serpent Mystery School. The conversation opened by diving right into the alchemical art of self healing. Kate says the journey begins with knowing ourselves. To be able to truly know how we work and then beginning to operate more from the wholeness of ourselves and less from our fragmented selves.
Kate calls this tuning in, “the largest love affair we can conjure in our lifetime.” She says, that place is the place of wholeness, our true inheritance, our healthy body vibrating with the frequencies of Earth. It is from that place we move into a relational embodied alchemical healing of the wounds and conditioning which are not part of our original human design. Kate’s work has been to assist others to move into the place of their original design, or wholeness, into the alchemy of shedding the layers and letting go as we all step into the new story.
The conversation flowed into how ancient alchemy is a remembrance woven into our individuated embodied souls in this now moment—how we can recognize what we don’t need to bring forward—as well as, what our soul is calling in to create the new. Kate feels the ancient piece is the way the soul resonates within us. When we come to inhabit the Earth design we are naturally in service to this world, as she says, because in that place we will know our soul and know our true belonging.
Kate shared her own knowing that the erotic impulse is one way that Earth vibrates through us to get our attention, and it does that so that we can come into relationship with our soul. She says, following the threads of our longing is a path that leads us to the revelation of our soul. Through the natural frequencies, each one of us has a unique and joyful journey to uncover what it is our own longing is pointing us toward.
Kate created the Dancing Serpent in part to create a temple space for women to become their poetry. She says, when we become our poetry, we become our soul and free ourselves to become the deepest expression of our power to love and create.
This gorgeous episode closed with Kate reading a powerful poem she wrote called—Go Transmit My Frequency. (see below for the text of this beautiful offering)

My guest this week is Ashmi Pathela the creatrix, author and artist behind the book, Awakening the Heart of Humanity. She calls it, “a journey into remembering who you are and why you’re here.”
After a depleting career in silicon valley, Ashmi trusted the inner prompt to travel, to write, and paint again as she had in her childlike purity. Trusting the prompts of her heart, she continued to build her intuitive muscles, which led her away from striving and toward the flow of the language of her soul.
Ashmi found that as she became more true to herself creation naturally came through. She invites us to tune into what wants to flow through each of us by learning to deprogram what is keeping us in limitation. She says; “You know you are walking toward it just by sitting in the discomfort.”
We talked about what is birthing on this planet and how we can be the calm in the storm as things escalate by trusting the true voice of our heart. That voice will lead us to right action or non-action as we unravel our own programming and shadows to allow the new growth to begin. Ashmi says that from that place we can also trust that our loved ones are also warriors of light even if they take a path different from our own. Trusting, without division, that they are on a path that will serve their own evolution best. As she says; “If you trusted the divinity of it all, you would not be afraid.”
There were so many gems in this powerful episode. We closed with Ashmi sharing how to begin to recognize and release victim-hood—moving through empowerment—into powerfully living in joy knowing we are always safe. She says, “Empowerment is a frequency you can tune into and choose.”

This is an exploration of the nature of healing and what is changing and evolving for us as humans in this now moment as we consider opening to more of our own self healing capabilities.
Exploring the beliefs we may have stemming from the common thought program that says if things don’t run smoothly, you have done something wrong. Noticing what beliefs we are still carrying that are feeding an outdated system through the metaphor of a parasite. We don’t take on the identity of the parasite, assuming it is us, and likewise, we don’t need to hold onto all that is collectively cleansing. We just need to allow it to happen and take excellent care of ourselves as it falls away.
We have all experienced learning exploring the limits of the human expression—now is the moment to be the embodied limitlessness of our true selves.
In this episode, Christine invites you to notice how can you begin to tune into your self healing. What practices are not really serving you any longer? How can you move through what is coming up with more grace? Where (to paraphrase Andrew Bartzis) can you allow healing to be a process and not an event? How can you free yourself from the lie that you have done something wrong if things don’t go smoothly?
To begin we can move away from what was never us those things that influenced and confused us—and back into our nature, back into the truth of ourselves. Utilizing your superpower of choice as you decide how you best move through this now moment as a beautiful human being.
Find out about Christine’s latest offerings HERE.
For many of us how the new consciousness is coming in is not what we “thought” it would look like, and yet it is exactly what we KNEW it would be. Because everything we thought was part of the lies, everything we (heart) knew is part of the truth.
Each day we can choose to release more of what was never us. You are the being in charge. Turning inward, tuning back into the truth of ourselves.
How do we practically move through this moment? How can we choose differently—staying in the body, staying present to our pure love presence, and choosing people, places and businesses that reflect our vision for the positive future of this Earth.

Christine’s guest is Gabriela Gutierrez, an independent scholar and practitioner of oracular arts and shamanism. The episode opened with a discussion about opening to joy/ecstasis even in the face of those most traumatic events that we are currently living. The definition of ecstasis is; “A magic state where your consciousness reaches another plane and creativity flows unimpeded.” Can we hold the place of the witness in the face of all the grief, fear and doubt and be with all that is unfolding, and—hold the joy.
We explored how our moment to moment choices can allow us to notice and dismantle some of the consumption based model that has not brought us joy and the true expression of ourselves.
Gabriela shared a powerful story of ancient wisdom through her recent experience of touring the prehistoric caves in Cantabria in Northern Spain, and how that experience can illuminate this moment, our relationship to Earth, and our relationship to our own bodies. She asks, if the Earth is the body and the body is the Earth and we are indeed made of stars and roses, then why is it we are causing her/us so much harm? How can we come into more harmony and communion with this Earth—being in our bodies, of and with the Earth again? How do we reclaim the organic idea of lover and eros and feel our feet on the Earth as part of everything?
We explored how to tune into your right action in each moment from a place of sovereignty and empowerment—moving in the direction of love to make the impossible possible. Gabriela says the body is the map and it will show us how to loosen and soften—expanding or flowering into the direction that is right for us, while allowing ourselves to evolve beyond what we think we are.
For Gabriela, the evolution of her work unfolded just before the lockdowns hit when she heard the words, “the virtual temple,” as she walked through the Alhambra (a sacred site in Spain). That became the platform for her passion to bring forward a revival of ancient wisdom and spiritual practice that is accessible to more people than it would be as an in person experience. She was able to create an all new kind of community, which is what we are all being called to create in this moment.
We closed by talking about dreaming and the impossible/possible as a means of dreaming our world into healing. Gabriela says we can choose to perceive dreaming as the landscape that can inform our life whether we are awake or asleep—and all we need to do is set the intention to enter into relationship with it so the impossible becomes possible—bee with that.

This episode (as always) was inspired by the listeners who call forward what wants to be heard, and by an instagram post on neutrality.
Christine shared insights, her poem called, I Choose Untamed*, as well as, a short visualization to help you discern what is the truth of you and how to move beyond the lower frequencies that are external to you.
In this episode podcast host Christine Pensa shares how tuning into your pure note is a powerful way to reconnect with your creator truth. Allowing the expression of all we truly are here to express—moving through in this powerful month of May 2021. How can we stand strong in our own inner space, while seeing the distortion of the world around us?
Using sound through the physical body is a powerful act of self expression. The invitation is to notice how you are using sound in your own life—experimenting with how it can support your sacred self care—while also noticing where it might be depleting you. Where can you allow more of the symphony of pleasure of your pure note to move more freely through you? Your own body is a powerful tool that helps you align with your true sound and vibration when you tune inward.
This moment on the Earth is a call to reweave our new harmonious song into the material world through our own bodies—and being that harmonious note by first tuning into our own self love. The invitation is to stop tuning into every outside narrative and ignoring the song your soul is here to sing.

Below is the text of the Creator Song Christine heard…
In this episode host Christine Pensa focused on wholeness from the perspective of the new human—how the story of an organic olive opened her heart up to a deeper understanding of wholeness—and, how that simple organic olive can help us to understand our own deep capacity for self healing.
The journey of this moment is all about us becoming more whole, shifting our current experience to reflect wholeness, rather than fragmentation. Reflecting on the beauty of Alberto Villoldo’s term “Homo Luminous” and this moment we are in where we are indeed in the cocoon of becoming the “new species of human giving birth to itself from a new luminous matrix.”
In this pivotal time on Earth we are called to embody our wholeness—be in mastery of the self—connecting to both our quantum/Source self, and our human body connection to the vibrant organic life on this Earth.
In reclaiming our wholeness, it is a powerful act of self healing to clarify our channel, to connect to the wisdom of our own Gut Brain, through the knowing of a vibrant gut microbiome. We then naturally call in the medicine we need and to move through the challenges before us—understanding each stressor may be a gift helping us to become stronger as we move into “dreaming our new dream into being” for all beings on Earth.
Here are some of the incredible beings I mentioned during the podcast…
Embodying our true selves. At this moment we are releasing, or turning on their heads, the old stories and narratives that have kept us sleeping. In this episode, podcast host Christine Pensa invites listeners to flip the story of Sleeping Beauty on its head, to re-imagine that the “prince” is actually your soul tenderly waking you up to embody more of your true frequency in this now moment.
Why not welcome in the kiss that brings you more powerfully into knowing your true self. You can use two powerful free tools right in your body—your breath and your ability to drop into the silence of your own heart. The wisdom of your own body is something at your own fingertips so why not develop a deeper romantic relationship with her—and with the vastness of your own soul.
The truth is simple—we are here for Love. If there is a part of yourself that has been longing to express more of that—kiss it awake!

Inspired by the phrase full of yourself, this episode explores the question, “If you’re not full of yourself, who else and what else are you full of?” This episode is an invitation to explore how much self you are full of, and what are you ready to release that is not you?
We are journeying through some terrain that may be unfamiliar. As we are finding our new footing in this moment, many of us are watering the new ground with our tears.
The tears can be the emptying out of what is not us and stepping back into filling ourselves up with the truth of who we are and have always been beneath the clutter.
It’s an invitation to expand into more of yourself through the lens of adventure and wonder. An invitation to allow any tears shed to water the ground of you.
Fill yourself with more of you—because who else would you rather be full of?
My guest in this episode is the divine Clare Kenty, a pioneer who has developed a teaching called, Reiki for the Times, Not Your Average Class. We talk about how everything is evolving and how her Reiki offering is really meant as a “bridge into where we are going.” As Clare says, we are not just talking about Reiki, it’s really about the—yes, and…
Her joy around the teachings of Reiki began when she felt she “knew” the work during the first class she attended. The way Clare teaches Reiki now is to offer a non-hierarchical, de-colonized space for each individual “student” to understand and explore the energy. She shares that the phrase, for the times, is really about asking—how can we honour the genesis of this “beautiful modality” and work with it side by side allowing it to blossom into whatever its evolution is going to be?
Our conversation unfolded and we explored our current evolution as humanity. Clare shared her perspective on straddling her being in a beautiful human vessel and the expansive “all-ness” we are—and the challenges of hovering between that and this very oppressive system that hooks into us. It’s an invitation to look at how we have been doing things, and as Clare says, begin to “question everything” and open ourselves up to choosing a different narrative. In particular, an invitation to question the ways we have agreed to devalue ourselves.
If there is no wrong, how do we release old scripts—or, as Clare says—how can we unsubscribe from the narratives that have been part of our human learning experience. How to let go of what we are ready to move beyond, because we are at a point now where we are longing the joy of co-creating and bringing into the material world our next evolution—knowing all paths are leading us to Source.
In this human journey, all perspectives are valuable, worthy and needed. As Clare shared, “The system was not designed for liberation. We’re going to have to liberate ourselves…so how about we take back our choice and choose differently.” From my perspective, I think that is how the world evolves into a heaven on earth.

Each episode of the podcast is an exploration of sacred self care in these changing times. Sacred self care is all about creating a life you do not need to be distracted from. A life that elevates existence to thriving in harmony with your true divine human embodiment.
This week host Christine Pensa explores the patterns and programs of the hierarchical structures in our world. She shares the higher frequency perspective she is exploring, which is, that there is no hierarchy to truly Be-ing Human. It’s an exploration into the ways we have given parts of ourselves away to conform to hierarchical structures, and how hierarchy is an opponent to peace. It’s an invitation to deepen into our own knowing, and release the ways we have been trying to make sense of systems that do no serve us in the new consciousness. It’s an invitation to choose inner-standing and coming home to our true selves—creator beings here to embody loving compassion.
The poem Christine shared at the end of the episode is called, New Song.
New song
Beloveds, now is the moment
The songs of sorrow and division are done
Warrior marches shouting down “the other” no longer need to weave through our streets
We do not choose that deceit
Because we have chosen a new song
Now is the moment
We step forward
As a new song rises from each beloveds pure heart
Though each expression carries a different melody—each wraps around “the others” without dissonance
The new tapestry of song—alive with creativity and joy
Now is the moment
For each note rising from each throat to be sung from a pure heart knowing
We have chosen to stand in harmony with this beautiful planet
with every free organic being embodied here now
Let that music play
(poem by Christine Pensa)
This episode is an invitation to shift your perspective, or flip on its head, needing to fix ourselves from a place of depletion. It’s an invitation to become even more aware of what we are creating in each moment— to open our perspective—to inner-stand more of our own body temple from a power place of knowing we are our own genetic engineers.
It’s an invitation to open up to what beauty, or song wants to be sung through us in each moment, knowing we are fully worthy Creator Beings who are here to express. It’s a reminder to trust the guidance system that we have within ourselves to create our own bespoke daily spiritual hygiene practice. Allowing our inner knowing to guide us to the resources that deeply support and nurture us, our sacred self care, and self love.
As Creators, we can look outside of ourselves for inspiration, while not giving away any of our powerful awakening experience to anyone else. We can create it in each moment, as we co-create the highest frequency container for the new consciousness.

In this episode, host Christine Pensa’s guest was the creator of the Perspective Talks, Maggie Savage. Maggie said the talks were borne out of her feeling of sadness that people were so divided. She said, “I felt we just didn’t understand each other.” Maggie interviewed a diverse group of people, from a variety of backgrounds and professions. She shared the evolution of the perspective series and how she was able to immediately slip into neutrality with each person to really hear their diverse perspectives. Maggie committed to practicing neutrality even when the people she was interviewing held opinions that were in contrast to her own.
Maggie says she is a born teacher so learning and sharing with others is natural for her. She approached the talks as an opportunity to learn what was behind the opinions—because if opinion is only a competition—then everyone loses. As Maggie was able to open to witness each person, she found that underneath the perspectives and opinions are life experiences and stories that are heart opening and always ultimately beautiful.
This episode is an invitation to open up to how we might rise above our own judgements and polarity—in order to come together and truly learn about each other through the eyes of compassion. Doing so, in effect Maggie says, “builds up an arsenal of perspectives to help better shape our own.” Honouring and looking beyond what is being said on the surface in order to understand what is really going on.
Maggie is also a Registered Holistic Nutritionist who is offering a new program called The Clarity Sessions because she found that though she has been surfing the same pandemic waves as the rest of us she continued to feel good, healthy and free during the lockdown. She combines her knowledge of nutrition and the depth of her personal journey through intentional living and meditation to bring this same clarity to other women.
The closing questions Maggie asked every guest on the Perspective Talks was what the silver lining of the lockdown has been. She was touched that the common thread and medicine so many pulled from a worldwide shutdown was to slow down, do what we love, and hug the people we love.

As part of my shamanic training and exploration I was introduced to the concept of the Four Shamanic Questions*. The idea was that when a person came to a shaman seeking help for dis-ease or in despair, the shaman would pose four questions to bring the person back into ease. The Fourth question is; WHEN did you stop being comforted by the sweet territory of SILENCE? Expanding upon the question, the seeker was invited to explore where they had mistrusted or ignored the mystery of their own being. Where had they stopped being an explorer of their own glorious life?
This episode is an exploration of all four questions, but particularly focused on the “sweet territory of silence,” because I’ve heard so many people talking about silence this past week, I decided it was something worth diving into. In this episode you are invited to explore more deeply what silence means for you. What silence as territory means for you. Silence can be depleting, as we can sometimes use it as a means of escaping. Escape can be a needed respite, or escape can be a repetition of depleting patterns that bring us no illumination. Silence can also be a divine heart expanding territory where we can hear and answer a call from our true voice.
At the end of the episode I lead you through a divination scribble exercise to open you up to a little creative fun in your heart exploration so have a paper and pencil handy for this one.
With love, Christine
(*I was first introduced to these questions through the work of Angeles Arrien)

In this episode host Christine Pensa invites you to remember the original divine spark of your creator frequency. In particular, your childlike innocent creator being-ness. She shares some ideas to help you amplify your innate and infinite expression as “Creator” from a place of pure presence, especially through the connection of your own personal flow(er) of life.
The episode uses creative visualization and a consideration of the 8 elements of design—(Contrast, Unity, Balance, Proportion, Harmony, Repetition, Rhythm, Emphasis)—to help you tap back into your joyful frequency. Remembering a time when you did not censor yourself, perhaps your own childhood when you automatically knew how to be present in the now.
Put music on and every child knows how to dance, or sing. Put a box of crayons or chalk in front of a child and they know exactly what to do with them. What if you allowed yourself to journey through and release all those places of limitation—giving yourself permission to play—to be unlimited—to dissolve the illusory walls that made you think you were disconnected from your pure heart.
In this episode writer, mystic and animist Meghan Genge joins host Christine Pensa for a gently powerful conversation on opening to more magic in your life, and how that is in itself an act of sacred self care.
Meghan shared how there was a moment when she decided, she chose, to invite magic into her life. As she says; “Our power – and possibly the greatest power in the universe – is in our imagination; in our authentic expression.” Meghan’s journey and also her joy and expansion has lately been in her daily writing practice, which at the time of our taping was at well over 1000 days. She says she has embraced showing up as a daily practice, no matter what. Meghan says she feels that sometimes self care has been misrepresented as “letting yourself off—when sometimes self care is making yourself do.”
The practice doesn’t matter, it is about the deeper call. The conversation opened into some beautiful questions. Where do you find your magic? How do you open to that in your own life? How are you showing up for yourself? How can you move into yourself to find the doorways to the magic?
Meghan shared some of her own experiences and how she has spiritually aligned herself to step into more of the magic in her own life. As she brilliantly said; “The more we approach it, the more it approaches you back.”

This episode is an invitation to deepen into our sacred self care during this powerful, heart opening, challenging and triggering time on the planet—by dissolving the polarity within us and between us.
Christine recorded this directly after participating in a Gaia group meditation. Her friend Jarmila, who leads the meditations, opened the silent meditation by sharing she was hearing Earth, Terra and Gaia singing together as one voice. A powerful frequency for all of us to tune into.
This image and metaphor of ONE voice is a call for all of us to dissolve the walls within ourselves and between our fellow divine humans.

This week’s guest Sahala Larnyoh carries a deep wisdom and grace beyond her years. She is one of the pioneers of what might be called new consciousness music, and is stepping into sharing the gift of her true voice with the world.
As she says, she wants to see everyone free and in their brilliance, and has chosen to come here in this lifetime to express through music, a gift she received through her ancestral lineage.
Before her awakening Sahala says she had a “good voice” that deep down she knew wasn’t the best of her potential.
After her awakening she understood that she has healing frequencies “riding on the back” of what she sings, even if she is just humming.
Our conversation turned to how self love heals you. First, as you move into your joyful expression, then as your cup is full, you share. We talked about how stepping into the magnificence of self love and away from your limitations, is the note that opens the door to all these other tones to unfold.
Sahala shared that all the patterns and programs she has been able to remove through frequency work (see Episode 116 with Kaya Usher) has helped her deepen into the power of her musical gifts. As she has become more aware of the truth of who she really is—she has been able to share that awareness through her music. Sahala says though she does sing about some of the heavier stuff, she says she spots it and releases it, finishing it so the energy of resolution is in the very beat of her song.
In her latest video, Watermelon Girl, (link below) Sahala knew she wanted to bring in the healing frequencies of and purity of nature into the presentation. She shared that the new consciousness, always present in nature, has in a sense up-leveled the ability of music to express in new ways, and that energy has amplified and is available to everyone no matter what their profession.
As Sahala said, this episode is an invitation to take the time to truly know yourself, moving slowly and surely into your heart space allowing yourself to relax in that space and open up to you.
With gratitude,
Christine Pensa
We are on the cusp of Imbolc (Imbolg), traditionally a time in the northern hemisphere that celebrated the midway point between winter and spring. At this powerful moment on our beautiful earth, Imbolc is an apt metaphor for our own transition into the new consciousness. As we move into the new, we are called to nurture ourselves with new practices and resources.
This episode is an invitation to consider which resources are no longer feeding your body and soul, but are actually depleting you. Host Christine Pensa leads you through a creative visualization to open to your own knowing of what new resources are in alignment with this now moment and what you are moving into. This is a time to support yourself with deep self love as you release everything that will not serve you in the new consciousness and choose three new resources to feed your evolution and birthing of the new humanity.
With gratitude,
Christine Pensa
This episode was inspired by the divine flow of this moment. As the guest originally scheduled for this episode cancelled, Christine moved with the flow and timing of honouring the guest’s sacred self care, and let go of even producing an episode this week—then—a social media post from a beautiful being, Samantha Warren (her info and links at the bottom of this page) caught her attention.
Samantha shared her own revelations about timing and honouring the flow that is our own deep knowing. The kind of knowing that comes from the heart space and is not in sync with the pace of the old world. Christine emphasized, we are not the production beings we have been led to believe we are—we moving into the truth of ourselves as creator beings. As we shift into that new way we need as Samantha said, more time in the chrysalis to be, “…here in this present moment while my transformation completes itself.”
For Christine, the image of the caterpillar, cocoon, chrysalis and butterfly brought back the memory of a beautiful message she received in 2018 from Mother Ocean.
That message was;
“Christine, first of all, the butterfly isn’t better than the caterpillar. It’s simply about timing and resonance. The caterpillar has a certain timing. She does all the things a caterpillar needs to do, with love, joy and reverence for all that is around her. Then there is a moment, when she begins to feel—first, in her body, then in her heart that it is uncomfortable to stay as she has been.
It is even more uncomfortable when she literally splits herself inside out to become the cocoon. Once she is within the darkness of the cocoon she begins to receive the codes* she needs—through the sacred vessel of her own body. Waiting in the darkness, she doesn’t know yet what she is becoming, but she knows it will be a new way of being. This is what is happening all around you now. You on Earth are in a metaphorical cocoon. Your bodies know it, and your soul knows it. You are opening, if you choose, to become something brand new. Someone that needs to express at a completely different frequency than you have before. Someone who needs to spread your wings in a new way in this world—with more of who you already are—being brought into expression.”
(*I found out later that these codes are actually called, “imaginal cells.” These cells “resonate at a different frequency” than any of the original cells in the caterpillars body.)
The invitation of this episode is to allow yourself to tune into how you are moving through these transitions in this now moment. Asking yourself, how can I deepen into amplifying my own sacred self care.
Host Christine Pensa welcomed guest author and creative Whitney Freya to talk about our expanding human capacity to be unstoppable. The episode was taped on the day the paperback version of Whitney’s new book, 30 Days to Unstoppable, Be the Dream Made Visible, launched.
The book sprang from a channeled teaching. That teaching, Whitney shared; “Is a call for humanity to pick up a new way of being and caring for ourselves—because everything begins as energy first, then manifests as matter. Therefore, we can learn to care for ourselves, to create, to energetically imagine into what it is we want to experience in our lives, and matter has to follow that energy.” Her book is a meditative tool to help you activate and embrace that capacity in your own life stream.
The conversation turned to how to cultivate self trust in spite of our very human feelings of uncertainty that often rise up. As Whitney shared, when we honour the knowing that we intentionally chose to be physicalized on this planet in this moment, when we honour that we are infinite beings, we can open to receive as the union of physical and spiritual. We can become the portal through which life is created. From this power point springs innumerable creative solutions.
Whitney explained how she got to the place where she could integrate both aspects of the self. “As I understood that I could live in a world based in energy, or a world based in matter that was the threshold for me and I realized everything is energy.” She says, that realization helped her to understand who she was—opening an exciting new paradigm for her to rebuild herself and her life experience. After that self knowing dropped in, all her decisions became based on what was in alignment with what she wanted to expand. “I began to understand that if I kept my vibration high and came from that place—then everything was going to work out.“
Whitney on sacred self care: Taking care of yourself and being centered in yourself is the most powerful thing you can do to co-create heaven on Earth. When you take care of your wellness it expands out from your being and it will always expand outward all around you.

The third episode of the evolution of story series focuses on the importance of recognizing stories we have been running and calling out the ones that are simply not serving anymore—as archaic relics ready to go.
As we move into this powerful final month of the powerful year of 2020, the invitation is to align with more of our true creator expression. December is a month filled with energetic gateways that can change and upgrade us at a cellular level. One of the most efficient ways to choose to receive is to allow yourself to just BE. Meditation, time in nature, and stillness are loving allies to help you deepen into more of your own wisdom.
Host Christine Pensa shares an exercise to help you tune into your superpower of choosing. I choose is a superpower statement that can open you up to come into greater alignment and clarity with your own deep wisdom as you build your bridge to the new world.
Creating space for love, softness, and internal peace this month is a powerful act of sacred self care—as is continuing to choose to align with and call forth your highest realities in each now moment.
With gratitude,
Christine Pensa
This week’s special guest is Kaya Usher. She works with frequency. In the beautiful conversation that unfolds in this episode, Kaya shared incredible insights and valuable information, but most of all, she shared her pristine frequency.
As she says, everything in this world carries a certain frequency, and where we come from, that fractal or hummm of our creation is created of the “ultimate frequency” the truest frequency of all.
Kaya explained the fractal, or true frequency—that we are all made of—came down to experience life. Through lack of awareness we brought in heavier frequencies, and we wonder why our life isn’t running efficiently or “in the highest order.” Often its because these lower frequencies have come in and interrupted that beautiful hummm of our own creation.
Kaya works with her abilities to go directly to the top, to your creation space where she helps you by overriding lower frequencies that shouldn’t be in your space with the higher frequencies—returning you to your natural state.
The invitation in this episode is to open and allow yourself to have your own experience of frequencies. As Kaya says there is nothing solid about us, except for that spark which is where we come from, everything else is malleable. Therefore, there is nothing that cannot be shifted with this work when you are ready to step into who you truly are and begin the love affair with the spark that you are.
The episode concludes with Kaya sharing a powerful meditation, which will give you an experience of her work. I know you’ll want to find out more, that information can now be found at her website here;
Touching in, this last episode before the end of the calendar year, focuses on a simple practice to assist you to move into more of who you are here to be.
The invitation from our true selves is to really ground ourselves onto the new consciousness and to release at the root what is not needed in our new garden. Using the metaphor of the taproot—a large dominant root from which many other roots grow. As shamanic practitioner Sandra Ingerman (Episode 64) says—we are Gardeners of Energy. We are the gardeners of our own beautiful body temples. Let’s step into the new year/new consciousness ready to plant/create what we truly want.
The episode concludes with Christine sharing a meditation visualization to help you connect to what taproot you are ready to pull out for good, so you can tune back into your pure primary root system.
With gratitude,
Christine Pensa

In this first episode of the new year, host Christine Pensa welcomed guest Dr. Sabina Singwell, PhD, writer, social scientist and creatrix of School of Bitchcraft, who works as an advocate for sanity and freedom around food. Bitchcraft is her shorthand for liberating your mind and your body from our sexist diet culture.
Sabina shared how healing her relationship with food and her body ended up breaking her open to healing through self knowledge and acceptance. She says, “Exploring how you relate to food is actually a magnificent doorway to discovering core beliefs about your very life.”
Sabina invites us to stop shooting the messenger—food—allowing ourselves to move into the things we might be resisting in that relationship. As she has found—that’s where our healing gold really lies.
As the conversation unfolded we talked about how unpacking the stories and patterns behind our relationship with food can help us come back into greater self love and a return to body sovereignty. Sabina pointed out it’s time to drop the self care narratives that are really about a pursuit of “perfection” with a veneer of self care over it, and lovingly embrace true sacred self care.
This episode is an invitation to reassess our relationship with our bodies, food and our sacred self care by allowing the focus and breakthrough to come from the inside.
Moving into 2021 is our time to release the distorted lenses and, as Sabina calls it, the external chorus. That chorus doesn’t reflect the truth of our magnificence. Instead, the focus shifts inside to learn to recognize the true physical needs and joys of our bodies, rather than being driven by distorted beliefs and emotions of ourselves or others. In this way, Sabina invites us to practice “body neutrality” by surrendering to the “goodness of our own knowing” and our body’s own knowing, while honouring the body’s divine cues.
With gratitude,
Christine Pensa
Podcast co-hosts Christine Pensa and Emma Kupu Mitchell connect in this episode as their *final collaboration as co-hosts.
As Emma put so beautifully, this is not an ending, but a returning back to self and honouring the authenticity of life (and it’s natural cycles).
In this episode we shared, through technical glitches and tears, how this parting is mirrored by nature. How there is grief and also great expansion in leaving something behind and opening up into the new.
Emma brought in the metaphor of the pruning she is doing in her own life in order to allow the space for her new pathway to appear. Christine shared the metaphor of the original Wayshowers who tuned deeply into their divine knowing to travel thousands of miles across “uncharted” waters. Both roads leading to how we can take care of our sacred selves as we navigate this new world unfolding before our eyes.
*Christine will continue to explore the juicy topic of sacred self care and coming back into alignment with our own deep knowing of how to way show for ourselves. It is her intention to mirror back what listeners are looking for in each now moment.
Emma will continue to be a part of Christine’s heart and of the listeners, and we trust that as her path unfolds in beautiful new directions, she will be available to share some of that expansion with all of us. In the first episode of Season 3, podcast host Christine Pensa opens an invitation to those who want to honour and deepen their sacred self care in a container of non-judgement, exploration, and witnessing—showing up exactly where we are.
The challenge of navigating this now moment is coming back into alignment with our own knowing through our own vessels, our body temple. It’s a stepping away from patterns that have been detrimental to our self love and stepping forward as the pioneers of the highest outcomes and possibilities.
The short introduction episode concludes with a channeled meditative poem Christine shares. The poem is titled; A Symphony of Pleasure, and its message is one of connection, expansion and joy.
Stories can open us up into the vastness of the cosmos & our connection to all that is—before books, and screens—there was the power of the land speaking to us. Stories can also become our prison. Sacred self care is about observing and releasing old stories that diminish you and opening into creating new ones to serve your soul’s expansion.
The stories we are holding onto in our personal lives and in the collective are beginning to dissolve on their own, or be forcefully dismantled. How can we become more adept at identifying removing those that do not serve from our own space? Christine shares three ways stories can show up in our lives and how to move as a more neutral observer, which is a beautiful sacred self care practice.
This is an invitation to rewrite our outdated stories and remember we are the powerful creators who are stepping in to tell the victory stories of these times.
FYI FUTURE story for the Podcast
As I move forward with the podcast alone the emphasis continues to be on sacred self care, the guests we invite and the topics we’ll explore are related to how we can navigate the waters of the new consciousness. The guests we’ll be opening to are the pioneers, the women who are stepping into the new consciousness. The topics we’ll explore is how we can gracefully weave in the old modalities that served us in the past, while calling in more deeply, sacred self care, and self love. We’ll dive into the joy of being fully present to our true selves and our sovereignty.
With love, Christine
In part two continued from the theme of Episode 113, I share what continues to unfold around the idea of story, what we have been storing and what is ready to dissolve.
In this moment the external world is powerfully pulling us into survival mode. In this mode our creativity and imagination are shut down. We begin to believe and react from a perspective of limited options—two choices, or even one. Our creativity and imagination are powerful self healing tools—opening up to our truth as Creator Beings. As sovereign creator beings we open up to solutions from the field of Infinite Possibility.
It’s more important than ever to SUPPORT YOURSELF with Sacred Self Care and True Self Love. These things are simple, powerful and free—silence, time in nature, breathwork, saying no, aka staying away from what depletes you.
In the Northern Hemisphere in particular we are beautifully supported by the season to deeply tune into the velvety darkness inside ourselves from which we can nurture the new story ready to be birthed for ourselves and for this beautiful world we have chosen to incarnate on now!
Remember the new consciousness is calling us to rewrite our outdated stories and remember we are the powerful creators who are stepping in to tell the victory stories of these times.
With gratitude,
Christine Pensa
